Isshaela Ingham has an MS in Acupuncture with a Chinese Herbal Medicine Specialization and an MA in Liberal Studies. During her graduate work, she was introduced to holistic and nutritional studies with Iyengar yoga, ayurvedic and oriental medicine and medical qigong. She worked in the student clinic, herbal pharmacy, medical library and lectured at the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

After graduate school, Isshaela established Dragon Light, LLC (2011-2017) to offer alternative medicine within Denver qigong and yoga studios and to assist graduates with an established space to develop individual acupuncture and Chinese medicine practices. She has worked in marketing for universities, architectural firms and acupuncture and herbal medicine clinics. Isshaela has been a grant writer, fundraiser and volunteer for arts organizations, served on the board of the Asian Art Association at the Denver Art Museum and as Treasurer and Board Member for Clear Stream Integrative Medicine. In 2016, she created a lecture series for the Denver Art Museum entitled, "Medicine as Art", bringing together practitioners and lectures bridging the understanding of Asian medicine via art.

The integration of effective healing modalities has inspired her career working with healing practices for the mind, body and emotions – from a subtle level of awareness with practical and tangible results. Isshaela spent many years focusing on the acute benefits of Tui Na (a form of Asian meridian massage) alongside herbology, qigong and yoga therapy. She has studied life and wellness coaching with The Dragon Tree in Boulder, CO and Medical Astrology with Kira Sutherland and the Sydney Astrology School. Isshaela continually promotes the education of effective healing modalities through writing, public education and support groups and has taught and presented at several education, wellness and cultural institutions in the Denver area. She is also on the board for The Center for People Impacted by Alcohol Abuse (CPIAA). Currently, Isshaela is focusing on wellness/life coaching and writing in Denver, Colorado and assists in writing, community outreach, fund-raising and educational programming for Clear Stream Integrative Medicine.
